Located on Canada’s West Coast in the province of British Columbia lies BC’s busiest and largest metropolitan area. While the City of Vancouver is once city in the Metro Vancouver Regional District which also encompasses cities such as Burnaby, Coquitlam, Richmond, Surrey, New Westminster and Port Coquitlam. Across the river is Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows and Mission.
These cities are a small portion but combined the entire region, which is why people say you’re from Vancouver they often ask which suburb (I personally was born in New Westminster, but grew up in Port Coquitlam before moving to Dawson Creek)
